Let customers speak for us
from 193 reviewsFantastic design. I would not have tried had it not come in a lefty. Looks great, excellent action, and the fusion lock is done perfectly. It’s lightweight, disappears in the pocket, ergos are good, and the blade edge is holding up well.

So, it's an easy 5 star knife and every other review here will tell you why. Truly, it's great. But that doesn't help your decision to purchase the knife or not. So in the interest of full disclosure, here are the things I don't like about it:
The knife is terrible at front flipping. Straight up bad. You can do it, but it's nowhere near as easy as any other front flipper I've used, and I've used a lot. It feels like the front flipping was added as an afterthought instead of incorporated as a meaningful way to reliably open the knife easily. This sucks because front flipping is my favorite opening mechanism. If the knife didn't have a front flipper, I likely wouldn't have bought it, and I feel bamboozled like the knife pulled the rug out from under me. Every other opening mechanism on the knife is solid gold, but the front flipper is straight up bad. (A longer pocketclip might give your fingers more purchase to make the front flipping a tad easier, but aftermarket parts don't exist)
I love how the show side of the knife has no screws, and the work side of the knife has 2 screws, but it could have only had one! You could remove the screw for the overtravel stop by placing it internally (Spyderco does this with their Swayback, if you want an example). It's already such a clean looking knife, that this is really a nitpick, but it's just so close to perfection that I want it to be the best all over.
The jimping doesn't fit my preference. I like mine a bit more aggressive.
The pocket clip is a bit stiff.
Yeah, that's it. 4 complaints, and 3 of them are subjective. I have nothing else negative I could possibly say about this knife, no matter how much I try. Damn shame about the front flipper, though. This would be my favorite knife if it front flipped well.

This knife is perfect, i'm very happy. I love it.

The GD slim is a work of art, from the shape and and size of the blade, to the smoke grey scales with the sky blue thumb studs, button lock, pivot, spacer, and pocket clip, it is very well put together and an eye catcher!
I really like this knife as you can tell, but I’d like to give some suggestions. As for me, the thumb studs are useless for me because they are a little too close to the pivot and the detent is strong. If they were adjustable, it would be perfect. Now one more thing it needs is a flipper tab on the back. It might sound like I don’t like this Knife, but I really do!

Amazing knife!
Great design. Multiple ways to deploy it. Comfortable to use. Feels great in hand and craftsmanship top notch.

My new favorite! By far the most fidgety knife I own. Really satisfying sound and snappiness with every opening. Fast delivery to Sweden!!

Top tier design, fabulous build quality and great customer service. The Caliber is maybe my favorite knife.

Super soft and light fitting shirt!! One thing that should be added would be the GD Logo to the back of the neckline.

Fantastic small Ti folder, button-frame-lock is buttery smooth like it's predecessors.
A+ 5/5 stars *****
