Only good things to say about this knife. Had no need to take apart and tune it. Out of the box the Sub Caliber had a perfect detent, perfect action, and perfect function. No need to lube or anything. Great experience! When I asked for extra screws, I was sent more with the knife at cost (8 bucks). Great knife and great customer service.

I absolutely love the colorflow of the blue and purple depending on howthe light reflect of the handle look at it ond way its a cool almost cobalt blue and when you see the purple its like a brilliant pinkish purple thank you for designing such a master piece and the action is very nice after a little breaking in. Thank you for the opportunity to purchase this knife.

I love the rectilinear design. Great detent and fall shut action. Amazingly light and slicey for its size.

I also initially experienced the challenge with the front flipper function.
A solution is to apply oil to that area of the knife and to use a wrist flipping action to the opening process.
Using both solutions solved the problem in most front flipper opening attempts.

I received my Slim the other day and my initial impressions of the action weren't that spectacular. Trying to hold the knife and flick the blade under the thumb stud was, well, a bit painful. So out came the KPL oil for the pivot and detent. After working it back and forth for several minutes I was able to get it to flip effortlessly. Love the size and sleek design. A slightly taller hole on the blade could be helpful with opening. Overall I'm pleased.
