Slim is in its name. The Slim is a medium sized folder with a 3.3" blade packed into a 4.3" handle.
Efficiently Packaged
Weighing only 2.8 oz, the Slim is light and carryable while still packing a punch.
Fusion
The Slim utilizes the patent pending Fusion lock. This allows for multiple methods of unlocking the knife by actuating the frame lock with the button or by traditional means.
Details Matter
The Slim has a custom pivot and unique, custom thumb studs featuring the domed styling common to all GD designs.
Magnacut
The Slim features a modified sheepsfoots blade (upside down drop point) with premium CPM Magnacut. It has a full flat grind for maximizing cutting performance in a shorter blade height.
Texture
No Golden Designwork's product would be complete without some necessary milling textures. The Slim has milled lines flowing with overall the overall lines and perpendicular milled lines for added grip.
Carry
The Slim has a very simple but highly usable milled, deep-carry pocket clip. The simple looks accentuate the dynamic details of the handle and the milled hybrid shape allows for excellent function while still exuding quality.
Comfort
The Slim's handles are just slightly chamfered for a more comforable, contoured grip and added visual appeal to accent the machined handle texture.
Maintenance in Mind
The Slim uses all T8 hardware to make take-down, cleaning and assembly a breeze. All the hardware is located on the lock side to keep things clean .
Weight Relief
To achieve that feather light 2.8 oz weight, the Slim's handle are heavily machined internally.
