A very good knife

I really enjoy the knife. For the most part, it's excellent. There are a few things about it that I don't particularly care for. To clarify some of these items are likely specific to this model, cf inlay.
Let's start with the drawbacks. 1- I do not like the pivot and pivot collar. It stands proud of the scales (likely used to hold the inlay in), and the edges are "sharp" for lack of a better description. 2- the front end shape, while aesthetically prefect with the blade shape, hole, etc., is not rounded enough and the edges protrude into your finger's path when using the flippers. 3- the blade edge - perfectly serviceable, but a high angle dps (24 degrees from others observations) leaves the blade too thick behind the edge to be an awesome slicer without a resharpening and edge angle reduction. Also, the outer edge of the hole in the blade could use more chamfer (when pinch grip opening, it bites a bit unpleasantly).
The positives - Everything else! The knife is really impressive. The various modes of operation all work flawlessly. The overall fit and finish is excellent. The quality in machining is excellent. The feel in hand, excellent. The fit in the pocket, the same. It has replaced my daily carry and supplanted the others in my rotation.
The pocket clip is great in thin or thick material. The feel in hand is great - for me. The size is in my goldilocks range.
Improvements- blade (grind - hollow) (edge - 18 dps), handle (recessed pivot/ pivot collar) (change from end to more rounded edges at flippers).
Overall, completely satisfied with the purchase and it has set a new bar for my edc pocket knife. Some of the drawback can be fixed fairly easily - change dps when sharpening it. Others must be lived with - pivot collar edges and handle geometry.
All in all - a great big thank you. This is what I wanted when you came out with the Caliber. And I am glad that I was able to add it to the collection.

Great Knife.... Great Size... Fantastic Action

Very happy to get this knife finally.
Small issue with inlay stopping the actual framelock from working independently all the time, but the button actuation works perfectly.

Well thought out design. I love how the carbon fiber inlays are thick and robust so that it doesn't flex at the area where the frame lock engages. Great attention to detail. Superb premium knife!

Caliber Final Form

This is what the Caliber was meant to be! It’s the perfect size and the inlays keep you off of the frame when deploying - EDC perfection!
